Princess Royal in Northern Ireland for official visit
The Princess Royal is on an official visit to Northern Ireland.
The princess' first engagement of the day was The Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children and Donkeys at its new site near Templepatrick.
During the tour, she was given a posy by 8-year-old Emily Payne from Portglenone.
The princess, worldwide president of the Mission to Seafarers, was later guest of honour at a event hosted by the mission at Belfast Harbour Office.
The Princess Royal has a long association with the organisation and launched an appeal in 1987 which raised £107,000 for a new Belfast centre, which she opened in 1988.
