A 19-year-old man who died in a road accident in County Tyrone on Sunday was Michael McKiver.

He was driving a black Vauxhall Astra when it crashed on the Ballynagowan Road near Stewartstown.

A woman who was travelling with him is in a serious condition in hospital.

Police said the Ballynagowan Road would remain closed for most of Sunday afternoon and asked witnesses to contact them.

BBC reporter Chris Page, who was at the scene, described the site of the crash as a "very quiet, very narrow, rural road".
