Man arrested over 1975 Paul Crawford murder is released

Police have released a 54-year-old man who had been arrested in connection with a murder in west Belfast in April 1975.

Paul Crawford, 25, was shot dead on the Falls Road during a feud between the INLA and the Official IRA.

The PSNI Serious Crime Branch is reinvestigating the murder after information was forwarded to it by the Historical Enquiries Team.

A man was arrested in west Belfast on Tuesday. He was released on Thursday.
