Twelfth rioting: man charged over Ardoyne trouble

A man has appeared in court charged with riotous assembly and throwing a petrol bomb during Twelfth of July trouble in Belfast.

Patrick Faloon, 37, of Cupar Street Upper, Belfast, is alleged to have been involved in the violence which flared at Ardoyne in the north of the city.

The west Belfast man was granted continuing bail to appear in court again in September.

There were three nights of trouble in Ardoyne over the Twelfth parade.

Also on Wednesday two men, aged 19 and 25, were arrested over disturbances in north belfast on 11 and 12 July.
