Opening ceremony for Milk Cup tournament

Milk Cup 2010

Thousands of young footballers from around the world were in Coleraine on Sunday night for the opening ceremony of the Milk Cup.

The teams paraded through the town in the run-up to the week-long tournament. Matches begin on Monday.

Founded in 1983, the competition has featured David Beckham, Paul Scholes and Wayne Rooney as youth players.

Former NI, Manchester United and Everton legend Norman Whiteside was the special guest at the opening ceremony.
