Man arrested in connection with Declan Quinn murder

A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Declan Quinn in Coalisland, County Tyrone.

Mr Quinn, 37, died earlier this month after being hit by a car on the Gortgonis Road in the town.

The 28-year-old man was arrested in the Dungannon area on suspicion of withholding information and assisting offenders.

A 21-year-old man has already been charged with murdering Mr Quinn, his second cousin, following the incident.

Anthony Joseph Quinn, 21, of Maplebrook Hill in Coalisland, is also accused of driving while disqualified.
