Man faces Lisburn hit-and-run charges

A man has been charged over an alleged hit-and-run incident in which four children were injured.

Three cars were involved in the crash on the Blaris Road in Lisburn on 20 May.

The drivers of two of the vehicles, as well as four children travelling in one of the cars were injured, none very seriously.

The 19-year-old is charged with causing grievous bodily injury through dangerous driving and failing to stop.

He is due to appear at Lisburn Magistrates court on 9 September.
