A third man has been charged with drugs offences following police raids in north Belfast.

Drugs and ammunition were seized during searches at seven houses across north Belfast and Newtownabbey on Friday.

Police said a 31-year-old man had been charged with drugs and firearms offences and is due to appear at court in Belfast on Monday.

Two men, aged 42 and 30, have already been charged with drugs offences following the raids.

Police said the two men had been released on bail and are due to appear in court later this month.

A gun and ammunition were also recovered on Saturday.

A man and a woman who were arrested following this development have been released without charge.
