Police are investigating following the death of a 23-year-old woman at the weekend.

The woman, who was from County Cavan, died after being taken to Antrim Area Hospital on Saturday night.

It is understood she had been attending the Planetlove festival event at Shane's Castle, County Antrim, earlier in the day.

Police said they were investigating the death on behalf of the coroner.

They said a post-mortem examination had been carried out, but the cause of death was "at this time undetermined".

They said further tests would be carried out.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said they had taken the woman to hospital after receiving a call to a filling station at Moneymore, County Londonderry, on Saturday night.

In a statement, the organisers of Planetlove said the woman had taken ill and "tragically died on her way home" from the event.

They extended their "deepest sympathies" to the woman's partner and family.
