Police are appealing for information after a burglary in south Belfast.

A PSNI spokesperson said that officers received reports of an alarm activation at the Lock Keeper's Inn in the Shaw's Bridge area at about 0115 BST on Saturday morning.

It was discovered that a hole had been created through the wall of the premises.

At this stage, it is not believed that anything has been taken.
