Man due in court over Londonderry rioting

A 23-year-old man has been charged with throwing a petrol bomb in Londonderry.

Among other offences, he is also charged with attempted hijacking, rioting, possession of a petrol bomb and common assault.

The man is due to appear before Londonderry Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 21 September

The allegations are believed to be related to public disorder in the city on 13 August.
