Three people have been left "badly shaken" after they were bound with tape during an armed robbery at a fast food restaurant in Carryduff, County Down.

Two masked men armed with guns entered a business on the Saintfield Road in the town shortly after 23:00 BST on Saturday.

They forced three workers into a back room, before bounding them with tape.

The robbers then made off with a sum of money, according to a police spokeswoman.

She added: "Nobody was injured but the members of staff were left badly shaken."

Police have appealed to anyone with information to come forward.
