Men armed with meat cleaver and poker attack victim in his home

A 31-year-old man has been treated for leg, arm and nose fractures after being attacked in his west Belfast home.

Two men armed with a meat cleaver and a poker forced their way into the house in St James Crescent at about 20.30 BST on Friday.

The man was taken to hospital after he was attacked.

Police are appealing for information.
