Man badly injured after King's Street Belfast taxi row

A 60-year-old man has suffered multiple head injuries after a row with two men at a taxi depot in King's Street in Belfast.

The altercation began at the rank at about 01:15 BST on Sunday and it is understood the man was attacked nearby.

The victim's condition is described as very serious.

After the assault, the attackers, who are believed to be in their 40s, fled in the direction of Divis Street.

Police have asked anyone with information to contact detectives at Musgrave Street.
