Man in hospital after stabbing in south Belfast

A 29-year-old man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in the back in south Belfast.

The attack in the Fountainville Avenue area was reported shortly before 01:40 BST on Friday.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment to his injuries. He is said to be in a stable condition.

An 18-year-old man was arrested a short time later in the Claremount Street area.
