Casting session to select fans for MTV awards in Belfast
A total of 1500 tickets for the MTV European Music Awards in Belfast are up for grabs at a special casting session in the city's Waterfront Hall on Sunday.
Lady Gaga, Coldplay and Jessie J are among the leading artists strutting their stuff in front of millions at the main ceremony next weekend.
Music fans have been queing since 08:00 GMT for the coveted tickets for the entertainment extravaganza in the Odyssey Arena.
Richard Godfrey, executive producer of the 2011 MTV EMA said: "Our priority is ensuring that as many Northern Irish music fans as possible can be part of the 2011 MTV EMA so we're looking for anyone with lots of enthusiasm to literally be part of the ceremony.
"The search will be open to anyone that is over 16, but there's no upper age limit - we're just looking for fun, charismatic people that love music as much as we do."
Organisers said entrants should be able to produce photographic ID (drivers' licence or passport), be dynamic, confident and effervescent with a clear love of a wide variety of music and be happy to follow clear instructions.
In addition to the main awards ceremony at the Odyssey Arena on 6 November, Snow Patrol and Jason Derulo are set to take the stage at Belfast City Hall while Red Hot Chili Peppers will play the Ulster Hall.
It is the first time the EMAs will be presented from three locations in the host city.
