Man hit with gun during Crumlin Road robbery

A member of staff at a Chinese restaurant in north Belfast has been struck in the face with a gun during an armed robbery.

Two men, armed with a knife as well as the gun, stole cash from the restaurant on Crumlin Road on Friday night.

Meanwhile, police are appealing for information about a robbery in south-east Belfast on Friday afternoon.

A man threatened staff at a commercial premises on Cregagh Road before escaping with cash.
