Pair arrested after shooting in Creggan Hill in Derry

Two men have been arrested over the shooting of a man in Londonderry.

The 22-year-old victim was shot in both ankles in a paramilitary style attack in a house in Creggan Hill on Sunday evening.

Several children were playing nearby at the time. Two men - aged 43 and 32 - were arrested separately on Tuesday.

They are being questioned on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and possession of a firearm with criminal intent.
