Man is accused of Derry riot petrol bomb attacks
A 23-year-old man has appeared in court in Londonderry charged with 20 public order offences in the city over two days in August this year.
Caolan Kavanagh is accused of riotous behaviour, making and throwing petrol bombs and damaging the Memorial Hall, city walls and PSNI vehicles.
The defendant, of no fixed abode, made no reply to the charges.
Mr Kavanagh, who has 13 previous convictions, did not seek bail and was remanded in custody until 22 December.
