Men recover after Strabane van attack

Two men in their 40s are recovering after they were bundled into a van and attacked in Strabane on Sunday evening.

They were picked up at Bridge Street then driven away and assaulted.

One of them received a slash wound to his neck while the other was slashed in his back. They also sustained bruising to their faces and bodies. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening

The police are trying to establish a motive for the incident.
