Digger stolen from site in Templepatrick

Police are investigating the theft of a digger from a site in Templepatrick village

The TB 125 mini digger was stolen sometime between 16:30 GMT on 7 December and 07:50 GMT on 8 December.

Police have said it was worth about £9,000. They have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

Officers are also urging site foremen and building contractors to ensure valuable equipment is securely locked and stored in a safe place.

"Marking your property with an identifiable code will also lessen the chance it will be stolen as well as increasing your chance of having stolen property returned to you," a police spokesman said.
