Muredach Doherty charged over Colin McLeister's death
A man has appeared in court in Antrim charged with the manslaughter of a Coleraine father-of-three at the weekend.
Colin McLeister died after falling down stairs at a Portrush club on 17 December.
Muredach Martin Doherty, 34, from Station Road, Portstewart, is charged with unlawfully killing the 48-year-old.
He was remanded in custody.
Mr McLeister was at the Playhouse Club on Main Street in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police at the time said there may have been an altercation prior to Mr McLeister being found.
An officer told Antrim Magistrates' Court he could connect the accused with the charges.
