Irish Army bomb team deal with viable device in Dublin

An Irish Army bomb disposal team has been called to deal with a "viable improvised explosive device" in Dublin.
The team was called after the device was found at a house on Kilcronan Avenue in Clondalkin on Saturday.
The device, which had been placed outside the premises, was made safe by the disposal team without a controlled explosion being carried out.
The device has been taken away for forensic examination and the scene was declared safe shortly after 15:00 GMT.
