An elderly couple have been robbed in their Antrim home by a bogus caller.

He called at their Cedarhill house at about 12:40 GMT on Wednesday claiming he was worried about youths stealing in the area.

He then forced his way into the home of the couple, both aged in their 80s, and stole money.

The man is in his 50s and was wearing a flat cap, grey jacket, dark trousers and a checked scarf.

Police have appealed for information.
