Four arrested after drugs and firearms found in Armagh

Four people have been arrested after police discovered drugs and firearms at a house in Armagh.

Two women, aged 23 and 25, and a 41-year-old man were arrested after police searched a house in Barrack Street in the city on Thursday.

A 31-year-old man was subsequently arrested close to the house.

They are suspected of possessing class A and B drugs, possession of drugs with intent to supply and possession of firearms in suspicious cicrumstances.

All four remain in custody assisting police with their inquiries.
