Police probe armed robbery at Ballysillan leisure centre

Police are investigating an armed robbery at Ballysillan leisure centre in north Belfast.

A member of staff was threatened by three men armed with knives and a baseball bat at around 07:00 GMT on Friday.

The men took money and made off in the direction of Wheatfield Street. No-one was injured during the robbery.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

The first man was described as 5ft 6in tall, slim, wearing a grey fleece, grey bottoms and white trainers.

The second man was about 6ft tall, of stocky build and wearing a blue fleece, grey bottoms and white trainers.

The third man was also around 6ft tall, of slim build and wearing a black coat and black tracksuit bottoms.
