Two men arrested after vehicle hijackings in Belfast

Two men, aged 18 and 19, have been arrested in connection with the recent spate of vehicle hijackings in Belfast.

There have been 12 incidents in the past fortnight, mostly targeting women drivers.

Police have set up a taskforce to deal with the attacks.

A 15-year-old boy has already been charged in relation to a vehicle hijacking in the Rugby Road area of south Belfast on 4 January.
