Belfast car hijacking arrests: Three men released

Three men arrested in connection with the recent spate of vehicle hijackings in Belfast have been released on bail.

The men, aged 24, 19 and 18, were arrested on Wednesday.

There have been 12 incidents in the past fortnight, mostly targeting women drivers. Police have set up a task force to deal with the attacks.

A 15-year-old boy has already been charged in relation to a vehicle hijacking in the Rugby Road area of south Belfast on 4 January.
