Lorry fire leads to traffic delays at Dromore

The A1 has reopened following a lorry fire close to Dromore, County Down which had closed the road in both directions.

The lorry blaze happened close to the coach works at Banbridge Road early on Thursday morning.

It is understood the driver smelt fumes in his cab and pulled over to find the lorry was on fire. No one was hurt in the incident.

The A1 was closed in both directions but has now completely reopened.
