A County Armagh haulage company has closed with the loss of more than 50 jobs.

Noel Zwecker International Transport, based near Armagh, had been in business for more than 40 years.

A spokesman for the family-run firm blamed rising fuel costs and the economic downturn for the decision to close.

The company provided refrigerated transport and distribution services throughout Europe.
