Man is shot in legs in gun attack in north Belfast

A 26-year-old man has been taken to hospital after being shot in the legs at a house in north Belfast.

Three masked men entered the property at Carlisle Square near the Antrim Road at about 20:15 GMT on Sunday.

They then shot the man in both legs.

He was treated in hospital for gunshot wounds to his lower legs. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
