A body found in Glandore Harbour in County Cork earlier on Wednesday is thought to be one of the missing crew members of the trawler Tit Bonhomme.

The vessel sank in heavy seas near Adam's Island on 15 January.

The body is reported to have been found floating close to the mouth of the harbour near Glandore village.

It has been brought to Union Hall where the families of missing skipper Michael Hayes and fisherman Saied Ali Eldin have gathered.

Five men lost their lives when the Tit Bonhomme sank.

The bodies of crewmen Kevin Kershaw, Attia Shaban and Wael Mohammed were recovered in January following the sinking.

Another man was rescued from the water on the day of the sinking.
