Men charged with aggravated burglary after Banbridge pensioner attack

Two Dublin men have been charged with aggravated burglary after an elderly woman was attacked in her home.

The incident happened on 8 February at a house on the Old Newry Road in Banbridge.

Ned Cash, 25, of Boot Road, Clondalkin and Pat Donovan, 54, of Mac Uilliam Parade, were charged with intent to steal and burglary with intent to stea.

They were remanded in custody at Armagh Magistrates' Court.

They are due to reappear next month.
