Four charged over cash-in-transit robbery bid in Portrush

Four men are due in court on Monday to face charges in connection with the armed robbery of a cash-in-transit van in Portrush on Friday.

The men, aged 36, 30, 27, and 22, are charged with robbery, going equipped for theft, possession of an offensive weapon and handling stolen goods.

The 22-year-old has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

All four are due to appear before Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday.
