Two men have been shot dead and two others seriously injured in a gun attack in County Kildare.

The four men were in a house in the Kilcock area when at least two gunmen forced their way in and fired several shots at about 22:30 GMT on Tuesday.

Two of the men, one in his late teens and believed to be a foreign national and the other an Irishman in his early 30s, were later pronounced dead in hospital.
