'Dirty protest' against body searches in NI prison

Help

The so-called 'dirty protest' by republican prisoners in Northern Ireland is back.

Dissident republicans are copying the tactic used by IRA inmates 30 years ago by smearing excrement over walls and floors.

The prisoners say they want scanning devices to replace body searches.

Meanwhile, Northern Ireland's Justice Minister has repeated his call for an end to the action.

The BBC's Mark Simpson reports.
