Man arrested over Mackin murder

A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Christopher Mackin.

The man was arrested in Belfast on Friday.

Mr Mackin, 31, died after being shot up to four times at College Square North in Belfast on Thursday 1 March.

On Tuesday, a husband and wife were remanded in custody charged with his murder. They are Charles Stephen Valliday, 40, and Julie-Ann Valliday, 35, of Powerscourt Place, Belfast.

A 27-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman arrested earlier in connection with the murder have been released unconditionally.
