Man charged after Christopher Mackin murder in Belfast

A 46-year-old man has been charged in connection with the murder of Christopher Mackin in Belfast city centre.

He is charged with assisting offenders and withholding information.

Mr Mackin died after being shot up to four times at College Square North earlier this month.

The man who has been charged is expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Married couple, Charles Stephen Valliday, 40, and Julie-Ann Valliday, 35, of Powerscourt Place, Belfast, have been charged with the murder.

They were remanded in custody at Belfast Magistrates' Court earlier this week.
