Body in Kerry bog to be examined

The Irish assistant state pathologist is to examine the scene of a bog in north Kerry where a man's body was found on Sunday.

It is believed to be that of a Brazilian man in his 20s from Gort in County Galway.

He went missing in February and was last seen in Ballyduff, County Kerry.

Two men, aged 19 and 20, are being questioned by Irish police at separate stations in Kerry.

The scene at Shronowen Bog near Ballylongford was cordoned off overnight.

The body was found during a planned garda search in a ditch in the isolated bog, which is about 10km from Listowel.

The body will be removed later for a post-mortem examination.
