Man faces eight charges dating back to 2003
A man has been charged with hijacking, attempted hijacking, two counts of armed robbery, attempted armed robbery, a commercial burglary and two counts of aggravated burglary.
The 26 year old was arrested on Wednesday and is expected to appear before Lisburn Magistrates Court later.
The crimes date back to March 2003.
The hijacking charge relates to an incident at Kennedy Way on 29 January. The attempted hijacking charge relates to an incident in Belfast in 2010.
One of the armed robbery charges relates to an incident at commercial premises in Kennedy Way on 9 January 2012, the second to an incident at commercial premises in Andersonstown in 2003.
The attempted armed robbery charge dates back to an incident on the Antrim Road in March 2003.
One of the counts of aggravated burglary relates to an incident in south Belfast in July 2004, the second happened in Dunmurry in March 2003.
