Bus shelters smashed in east Belfast

Police want to examine CCTV to investigate nearly 30 separate incidents of vandalism on bus shelters overnight.

Most of the damage was caused in north and east Belfast.

Work has already begun to repair the shelters.

Translink said they strongly condemn all instances of anti-social behaviour and the damage is of great inconvenience to their customers.

Shelters on the entire length of the Newtownards and Antrim Roads came under attack.
