Police investigating the murders of Hugh and Jacqueline McGeough in Craigavon last year are questioning three men about the killings.

An 18-year-old man was arrested in Craigavon on Wednesday, while two men, aged 31 and 46, were transferred to police custody from prison.

The three men are being questioned at Ardmore police station in Newry.

Hugh McGeough, 56, and Jacqueline McGeough, 44, were murdered at their Craigavon home on 7 March 2011.

Police believe that the married couple let whoever killed them into their home.

The officer in charge of the investigation, Detective Chief Inspector Richard Harkness, said: "Our enquiries lead us to believe there are people who have information about these murders or who know who was involved.

"I would ask those people to contact our special incident room."
