Youth charged over Fermanagh cannabis find

A 17-year-old man has been charged with cannabis cultivation and intent to supply.

The young man, who is Chinese, appeared before Dungannon Magistrates' Court on Friday following the discovery of a cannabis factory on Wednesday.

Police said cannabis worth £350,000 was found on a rural property near Coa, about five miles from Enniskillen.

The man was also charged with causing criminal damage to a house and dishonestly using electricity.

The charges were related to him through a Mandarin interpreter.

He will next appear at Enniskillen Magistrates' Court on 28 March via video link.
