Pensioner injured in attack at Belfast house

An elderly man was knocked to the ground and sustained a cut to his head during an incident at Rosapenna Court in north Belfast.

At about 19:00 BST on Friday, three men are reported to have called to the home of a man in his 70s and demanded money.

Police said a scuffle ensued and the elderly man was knocked to the ground sustaining a cut to his head, which required hospital treatment.

The three men, who wore hooded tops and scarves, made off empty handed.
