Two men are injured in west Belfast shootings

Two men have been injured in shootings in west Belfast on Friday night.

Shortly after 20:45 BST, a number of men entered a house in Lenadoon Avenue and shot a 29-year-old man in the leg.

Shortly after 22:25 BST, two men were approached at a playing field in the Bog Meadows area by a number of men, who shot one of them a number of times in the legs.

The 20-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.

Neither man's injuries are thought to be life-threatening.
