DNA tests identify remains as missing Derry man Eamonn Moore

Human remains found at the shore of Lough Foyle in County Donegal have been confirmed as being those of a missing Londonderry man.

Eamonn Moore, 22, from Jefferson Court in the city centre, had not been seen since he left his apartment on 26 November last year.

The remains were discovered by walkers near Redcastle on Tuesday.

Mr Moore was identified by DNA samples. Extensive land, sea and air searches took place after Mr Moore went missing.
