Two men injured in 'serious assault' in Limavady

Two 36-year-old men have been treated in hospital after they were attacked in County Londonderry at the weekend.

One of the men suffered a suspected fractured skull, and a broken jaw and cheekbone. The second man sustained an injury to the back of his head.

Police found the injured men in the Rathbrady Road area of Limavady shortly after 03:00 BST on Sunday.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested and is assisting PSNI detectives with their enquiries.

Police have appealed to anyone who was in the Rathbrady Road area at the time and saw anything suspicious to contact them at Limavady on 0845 600 8000.
