Man charged after shooting in Glenarm

A 44-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder and possessing a firearm following a shooting in County Antrim.

He has also been charged with failing to comply with the conditions of a firearm certificate.

Up to four shots were fired through the front window of a property in Drumcrow Road in Carnalbanagh, about five miles from Glenarm, on Saturday.

Three people, who were inside at the time, were left badly shaken.

The man who was charged is due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates' Court on Monday.
