Third man admits Cookstown gun charges

A 32-year-old man has pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing firearms and ammunition with intent to endanger life.

He also admitted one charge of possessing articles for use in the course of terrorism.

The charges followed the discovery of a gun and ammunition after a car was stopped in Cookstown in October 2010.

On Friday, two men aged 23 and 24 pleaded guilty to similar charges. All three have been remanded in custody.

A fourth man is due to appear in court at a later date.
