Cavehill Road, Belfast, shop staff threatened with knife

Staff at a shop in north Belfast have been left badly shaken after being threatened by a man with a knife.

It happened on the Cavehill Road at about 17:45 BST on Friday.

A man thought to be aged about 50 and with ginger hair entered the shop, threatened staff and demanded money from the till.

He fled empty-handed in the direction of the Cavehill Road and Tivoli Gardens. No-one was injured.
